For 57 years, Barney’s Bar-B-Q was well known throughout the St. Louis region for their "open pit style" barbecue. Their process of making their own charcoal and hand carrying it to the pit with a shovel made them the most unique barbecue joint in St. Louis.

This family friendly restaurant featured a walk-up style ordering window. The menu board was designed to match the vintage feel of the building and was mounted directly to the wall. The take away menu cards were designed with the same aesthetic in mind.
