Burromax is a St. Louis-based industry leader in electric mini bikes. Brothers, Ken and Bill Frances, design, source and customize electric mini bikes with models that range from entry level to thrill-seeker. They have a local show room as well as authorized dealers throughout the country.
The Challenge
I have been working with Burromax since 2017. Ken first came to me with multiple customer requests for custom graphics to be applied to their mini bike. This was a fun challenge that brought me back to my years in design school. I requested the plastic mold and went to work using pencil and vellum to develop a graphic wrap. Once the templates were developed, they were tested and tweaked.
Travel events and trade shows are an important aspect of the company’s sales. Stepping out from traditional print design to create more dimensional work was a fun challenge for me. I especially enjoyed customizing their box truck with a vehicle wrap, as well as their trade show tent.
